What JerkMate collects, what it never collects, and how little of you the site actually needs to work.

The principle: collect almost nothing

JerkMate is built so that using it barely creates data. No sign-up to start means no name, no email, no phone number and no profile attached to your first matches. The site works without knowing who you are, and we intend to keep it that way.

What the site does collect

The minimum that makes matching function: your IP address and rough country (used to route you to a nearby match and to enforce regional rules), your device and browser type (so the video actually works), and camera and microphone streams during a session — which pass through the connection and are not stored by us. If you later create an optional account, it keeps your history, favorites and coin balance. If you pay for coins, our payment processor handles the card; we never see the full number.

What the site never does

We do not record sessions. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. We do not run third-party ad trackers on the site — there are no ad slots, so there is nothing renting space on the page. And we do not contact you for marketing unless you explicitly asked us to.

Cookies and local storage

JerkMate uses a small number of functional cookies and local storage entries — the ones that remember your age confirmation, keep a session alive, and hold your preferences. No advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser data resets all of it; the only cost is the 18+ check politely asking again.

Your part of privacy

No site can protect what you say out loud. Keep your real name, address, workplace and payment details out of conversations, and assume the other side of any camera can save what it sees — that is true everywhere on the internet, not just here. The community guidelines ban recording on our side of the deal; the habits on your side are yours.

Requests and questions

Ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request. Account deletion removes your history, favorites and balance data. Anything unanswered here can go to the same address, or to the help center for the practical questions.
